Nine measuring instruments for spreadsheet buyers
These are instruments rather than advice: each one takes your numbers and returns a figure you can act on. Every rate and threshold is an input, so nothing here depends on us being right about a price. Where we do not hold a sample, the instrument says so instead of substituting an estimate.

Check log
A weekly record of what changed: record statuses, parameter corrections, and gaps that opened or closed. It is not a calculator, but it is the reason the calculators' numbers can be traced.
How the parameters are kept
Every input on every instrument carries a checked week. When a figure changes, the change is recorded in the check log with the parameter name, the old value and the new one. That is the whole maintenance model: no silent edits, and no figure on this site that cannot be traced to a date.
